The Tuttle Area Chamber of Commerce offers a great big “Thank You” to all volunteers who made the 20th Annual Ice Cream Festival a success. Nearly six inches of rain on Wednesday and Thursday made for a few soggy areas. An early Friday morning water main break threatened the event. Quick and diligent work by the City of Tuttle ensured there would be water and the “show would go on.”
We will most certainly miss a few who contributed but we would like to “call out” the following:
Jo Bazhaw – Coordinated the Festival Parade
Debi Huff – Coordinated volunteers for the Ice Cream tent
Evelyn Shook – Coordinated the Festival entertainment
Brad Traxler – Coordinated volunteers for the inflatables
Marty Willians – MC at the 3rd Street Stage
Mandy Base – Coordinated the Ice Cream Princess Pageant
Bruna Claypool – Coordinated the Citizen of the Year Award
Justin Kock – Use of the Edward Jones Offices for Entertainer Hospitality Area
The Tuttle Times – Produced the Ice Cream Festival Program
Tim Young and the City of Tuttle – provided the logistical coordination for the ICF
Lions Club – Staffed the Hospitality Tent
Misty Paxton – Coordinated Children’s Activites
Lara Hughs (Chamber Manager) – Coordinated Vendors, T-Shirt Distribution, and more than we can post here.
